driving home

Just start in my new area, basically California from San Jose down. Some stores in Monterey, San Luis Obisbo, Santa Cruz and the interior of the state. Meet with the franchise operators in Monterey yesterday morning and then headed back down PCH to LA. Took this shot near Big Sur.

Serious Pie

Ah.... dinner in Seattle at Serious Pie. Matt and I got into happy hour just under the gun. $3 beers and $5 pizzas. We tried out four pizzas and a fine lager. Nice evening after a long day.

Mushrooms and truffle cheese. The Fennel sausage and carmelized onions was mighty tasty as well. Matt's tastes are fairly simple, he polished off the buffalo mozzarella and fresh basil pizza with little help from me.

Pacific Northwest

Arrived this morning for a few days in Seattle to visit the Safeway kiosks for the first quarter. Had a chance to wander around and take the obligatory tourist shots.

Sonoma

Spent the day in Healdsburg, Windsor and Sonoma working. Took this shot on Highway 12 near Napa. Everything is blooming right now and the entire landscape is a bright yellow or green. Had lunch with Kathryn in Santa Rosa as well. Nice day overall

Highway 99

Had to drive up to Chico this morning to do a store visit at the Safeway. Everything is in bloom. All the cherry tree orchards along the drive were specatacular.
