Back in LA for the week. Had to visit some accounts in Orange County, Santa Monica and the Inland Empire. Kind of ping ponging all over the Southland. Had a chance to meet up with Dana and Bill for dinner at the new Hatfields on Melrose. The Times just gave it a 3 star review a few weeks back and I have been itching to try it. Had my 45th birthday dinner at the old place on Melrose and I still dream of the lamb chops. Jepepy joined for dinner as well. I love him. Never a dull moment or lull in the conversation with Jepepy around.
Had to pick him up at his job at the post production house. It's on Yucca across from Capital Records. Took this shot while I was waiting for him to come downstairs.

farmer's market
Just got back from the Mid-West and spent part of the weekend in LA. Went to the Farmer's Market at 3rd and Fairfax for a late breakfast early lunch with Chris, Tami and Dante.
Dante went for the waffles with fresh bananas and syrup
Tami and I had Mexican from Loteria Grill. So good.
Fried plantains with creme! Yum

LA part 2
Had a chance this past week to meet up with friends, have dinner and just hang out. Went to Pete's earlier this week and noticed this by the bar. Kind of sums up how I feel about burgers.
Met up with some of my old managers for lunch yesterday. When I worked in Pasadena and the San Gabriel Valley, the Boiling Crab was our spot. Met up and had some fried oysters and shrimp coated with their flavored butters. I got the whole "she bang" on mine. Spicy, garlicy goodness. Have to leave today to go back up north. Fresno for the next few days.

Los Angeles-A week in review part 1
Home for a week! Very nice. Had to visit the franchise partner at USC earlier this week and stopped at Langers in the Westlake-MacArthur Park area for a late lunch. The most perfect sandwich in the world! The number #19 at Langers. Whoof!
Pastrami, crunchy cold slaw, swiss cheese and russian dressing on rye. I lurve this sandwich
Beautiful all week. Was suppose to rain mid week but only happen during the night. Went up to Griffith Park in the afternoon and hung out at the observatory. All of Los Angeles from Pasadena to the sea were on view.
The observatory was packed with kids on field trips, families on Easter/Passover break. Got a few shots off but way too many people
